- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪We are Americans on vacation in Halifax, when we had a medical emergency. Staff at the Alt Hotel were fantastic in support, ensuring we made it to Cobequid Health Center at 10 pm on a Friday. The Health Center staff members were uniformly professional, welcoming, kind and I was seen in less than 10 minutes. The doctor (Dr. McGuire) was prompt, efficient, compassionate, and went above and beyond to ensure I received the care I needed.
